What is Wellness Coaching?
Wellness coaching is a proven method of helping individuals become masters of their personal wellness. Coaching is not about telling individuals what to do, but rather about helping people become clearer on where they are, where they want to go, and how to get there. Through collaborative problem solving and goal-setting and safe, open, and honest dialogue, coaches help their clients work through the difficult process of behavior change.
With coaching, clients feel accountable to themselves as well as to their coaches. They learn to set goals, define an action plan, and achieve their goals. In the end, they accomplish more than they ever thought possible.
