Coaching is different. It's not about just telling you what to do. It's about helping you realize where you want to go. It's about helping you understand why you want to go there. It's about helping you forese
e and overcome obstacles. It's about challenging you when you need a push. It's about offering advice when you need it. It's about creating accountability to your coach and especially to yourself. It's about helping you achieve your goals, and even more! At Good Life, we accomplish this by asking powerful questions, listening intently, offering advice, lending encouragement, providing support, and helping you stay focused. In the end, we help you define and create the changes you want so that you can live your good life.


How does coaching work?
Coaching consists of regularly scheduled sessions - either weekly or bi-weekly - where you and your coach spend time discussing your needs and desires, reviewing your successes, setting goals, and working through any obstacles. Sessions last approximately 30 minutes, with the first session being a little longer at approximately 60 minutes. Many people commit to at least a three-month program (which is recommended because it is a realistic time-frame for achieving behavior change), although it is not required.

With the exception of the initial session (which is often done in person), most coaching sessions are conducted over the phone. "Telecoaching," as it is called, allows people to talk from the comfort of their own homes or offices and is very convenient.*

Coaching costs vary depending on your needs:

•  Initial Coaching Session: $80 includes a health behavior questionnaire and establishment of a wellness vision and 3-month goals.

•  Individual Coaching Sessions: $40 includes one 30-minute telephone session. Calls are made by the coach.

•  Three-Month Plan: Save 10%! Each 30-minute session costs $35 and is made by the coach. Includes unlimited email support.

•  Pay as you go: $80/hour; pro-rated by 15-minute intervals. Ideal for quick coaching between sessions and for those who desire more flexibility.
